Master showing up behind page elements
When a master is applied to a screen the screen elements covers the master element. I have the master element set to being to front but when it applied to a screen it still appears behind the screen elements.
The master is being set in a template that is set when the screen was created. In the template the master works correctly and appears on top but not in the screen that the template it being applied to.

Hello, all the elements of a template, whether they are master instances or not, are always behind the elements on the screen.
If what you want is for a template element to be displayed on top of everything (even screen elements) you can use the "Show always on top" option found in the properties palette.
